This West End Energy Group workshop will feature expert information about home batteries, including:
- who needs one?
- what are the benefits?
- what are the downsides?
- how to manage one?
- information about government rebates.
The West End Crafting Crew meets on the second Sunday of the month from 10am-12noon at the OCG Precinct (Old Castlemaine Gaol). It is a chance to connect over a cuppa and hobbies like stitching, knitting, crocheting, drawing - anything you can do sitting around a table. Everyone is welcome, just bring along a project you are working on.
Join this workshop to take native cuttings from Caroline's garden and learn how to propagate them in pots to grow in your own garden.

Your neighbourhood YIMBY crew are hosting a Hot Compost Drop-In this Sunday arvo. If you’d like to see what we do with your donated kitchen scraps, or you’re curious about becoming a Yimby Composter yourself, come and see our Hot Compost! We now have EIGHT Yimby Composters in the West End and are aiming to support a few more, so we can help ensure no good scraps go to landfill from the West End! We’re looking for people keen to compost, people keen to do scrap bucket collection or both. Come see how it works and learn about all the support Yimby can offer you.Drop by between 3-5pm this Sunday 10th Nov to Ilka’s Hub, 7 Yandell St (NE corner of Bowden St) and meet your local West End YIMBY composters!
